At Cvent, our product design meets at the crossroads of empathy and technology, embracing the point of view of our users to create products that truly make an impact. Here, you’ll design new products and improve existing ones, taking ownership of your product area to help drive its vision.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work on projects with the greatest impact to our customers. You’ll rally a team of product managers, developers, writers, researchers, and other stakeholders throughout complex, and sometimes technical, long-term projects.

Use the latest design tools, but also sketch out ideas on paper and whiteboards
Empathize with our users to design an efficient and enjoyable end-to-end process
Take the experience of our products to the next level through collaboration with user researchers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders
Create a UX design brief with the goals and direction of each project
Participate in, and learn to lead, design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions
Make design recommendations based on user research and product analytics
Design intuitive, modern, accessible products
Understand how Cvent’s products fit together in a holistic design ecosystem
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction, UX Design, Product Design, or related field
~2-4 years of professional experience in a Product Designer or UX Designer role
~ Design experience with a focus on software applications
~ An eye for good visual design and visual layout
~ A portfolio that shows off your design skills and design thinking for each project
~ Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design techniques
~ Not afraid to do your own research, and change techniques if your approach doesn’t work
~ Practical understanding of design systems and accessibility beyond the UI
~ Expertise in professional design and prototyping tools
~ Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS (bonus points for front-end coding experience)
~ Ability and desire to apply creativity to a variety of projects
~ Able to work alone and with others, managing personal and project timelines
