Mechanical Project Executive

Assist in preparing and analyzing project cash flow, funding, and manpower plans in accordance with grant and funding agreements .
Support cost management efforts , ensuring compliance with LACMTA policies, procedures, and project plans for large-scale highway and transit projects .
Evaluate contract change orders and modifications for potential budget and schedule impacts.
Maintain accurate financial and schedule records , ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Support the development and periodic updates of the cost/schedule baseline plan and project status reports.
Assist in cost forecasting, invoice processing, and financial tracking for project expenditures.
Maintain project data within the Project Management Information System (PMIS) .
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field .
~1 to 3 years of project controls experience on large-scale civil infrastructure projects .
~ Proficiency in cost and schedule management tools , including Excel, Oracle Primavera Unifier (preferred), P6 (cost and resource-loaded schedules), and database management software .
~ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, schedules, and contracts .
~ AACE International certification (or working towards certification) is desirable.
