We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a handson leader who can drive the quality assurance process for our software products. This role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , with a specific focus on requirements gathering and comprehensive test plan documentation within an FDAregulated environment . This role will report to the Staff DevOps Engineer and will not have any direct reports.

Location: Hybrid (Remote & Onsite in SanMateo,CA)
Lead and execute the entire testing process, including creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Participate in risk analysis, verification & validation (V&V) activities for FDA SaMD software applications.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (including product, development, quality, and regulatory affairs) to gather and analyze software requirements.
Develop and maintain robust automated and manual test suites using languages like Python or Java and test frameworks like Selenium or Cypress to build and maintain endtoend automation tests.
Perform crossbrowser and crossplatform manual testing for frontend web applications.
Execute manual functional testing for backend services.
Perform endtoend User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as per test plans to validate user flows, functional requirements, and user experience.
Integrate test automation into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
Serve as a subjectmatter expert on software quality and compliance, mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.
Analyze test results, document defects, verify bug fixes, and ensure systems meet business requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on product usability and quality.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
~5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
