And now RSA is transforming the industry yet again, paving the way for the future of digital identity through the RSA Unified Identity Platform; next-generation hybrid and cloud solutions; RSA is seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Software Engineer to help design, develop, and maintain our onprem and hybrid cloud, G&L and RSA ID Plus products . You will work on building onprem and cloudnative, scalable SaaS solutions that solve realworld enterprise security challenges.
As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to designing and delivering features for our G&L products , collaborating closely with senior engineers, product teams, and operations to ensure highquality, reliable software.
10+ years of experience developing objectoriented software with expertise in Java .
~ Handson experience designing, implementing, and testing cloudnative SaaS applications .
~ Familiarity with zerodowntime deployments , multinode architecture, and disaster recovery strategies.
~ Knowledge of data storage strategies and ability to evaluate tradeoffs between SQL, NoSQL, and caching.
~ Practical experience with SaaS operational monitoring, observability, and incident response .
~ Understanding of secure coding practices and IAM/security concepts .
~ Experience with CI/CD pipelines , automated builds, and release management for SaaS services.
~ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment automation tools (e.g., Enthusiasm for ensuring comprehensive automated test coverage and code quality.
~ Experience in computer/network security and IAM products.
Familiarity with relational (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) is a plus.
Experience working in Agile software development environments.
