The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue on an ongoing basis, providing stability and continuity for both the facility and the incoming physician. This role encompasses both scheduled clinical hours and call coverage, creating a well-rounded experience for the physician. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system and is open to multiple providers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. The practice setting includes outpatient and inpatient care, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for the physician. Hospital and surgery center privileges are required for this role, and the facility does offer temporary privileges, streamlining the onboarding process. As a part of the obstetrics and gynecology department, the physician will play a crucial role in patient care, with an average of 296 deliveries per year. The practice includes both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, and the physician will be involved in various aspects, including FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, and surgical gynecology. The support staff includes 2 MAs and 4 office staff, providing essential assistance for a smooth workflow. There is no requirement for the physician to supervise advanced practice providers, allowing for an independent practice setting.
