We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Alaska, starting Apr 13, 2026. Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse Practitioner
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with a rotational Saturday shift (every 4-6 weeks)
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide a mix of primary care and urgent care services to patients
Deliver care to a diverse patient population, including possible pediatric and OB/GYN cases
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
Maintain up-to-date certifications and licensure requirements
Additional Information
Current Alaska license required
Board certification in Family Medicine required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and DEA certification required
Experience with IHS, tribal, or rural health is highly valued
Pediatric and OB/GYN experience is a significant plus
