In support of their needs, we are looking for an Opto-Mechanical Assembly Engineer / Technician (1st and 2nd Shift) .
Job Title: Opto-Mechanical Assembly Engineer / Technician (1st and 2nd Shift)
Work Schedule: On-site
Shift: Monday - Saturday
OT required on Saturday's

Support tool progression priorities -tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
• Mechanical experience – hands-on mechanical work is essential.
6 days/week (Monday–Saturday)
• Minimum High School Diploma
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (mechanical/optical)
• Mechanical test
• Candidates from aeronautics or medical devices are good fits.
• No fiber optics experience required.

Performs the build, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at a system level.
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
• Requires experience in testing digital and/or analog systems
• Ability to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of testing and measuring instruments
• An AA degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is a +.
• Looking for a person with strong mechanical, electrical and software skills.
• More opto assembly BIG system level.
