This position offers a flexible call schedule that includes weekday and weekend responsibilities. You will be handling deliveries, averaging one per day, and managing a 1:4 call rotation. This role requires a 30-minute response time to the hospital, providing an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care in a supportive environment. Job Responsibilities- Manage deliveries, averaging one per day.- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation including weekends.- Perform routine and complicated deliveries including C-sections and high-risk births as required.- Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff using Meditech Expanse EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN- Completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency- OH license required- Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred- Must have completed 50 deliveries in the past 12 months with at least 5 being C-sections
Working Hours- Rotating shifts with a 1:4 call rotation- Must report to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
Skills- Proficiency in routine vaginal deliveries, decision-making for C-sections, and handling complicated deliveries- Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds- Effective communication and teamwork skills within a hospital setting- Strong organizational skills to manage on-call responsibilities efficiently
