This role demands a blend of high-level strategic vision and hands-on engagement with technical security challenges, ensuring the protection of the organization's infrastructure and data from evolving threats. Be part of a vibrant community where amazing people, data & insights, and perpetual innovation converge to shape the future of digital commerce About This Role at Momentum As an Cybersecurity Lead on our IT & Cybersecurity team at Momentum, while your days will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to contribute to our mission here's a glimpse into what your typical day might look like:
  • Manage and maintain security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks.
  • Utilize existing tools, platforms, processes, & procedures and shall identify & share areas of improvements to Incident Response & Cybersecurity Support activities to stay up to date with evolving insider user & external threats.
  • Support the system security program by proactively managing Infrastructure systems security risks, vulnerabilities, & compliance with security configurations, guidance, & policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of security alerts and threats from various sources to identify potential risks and assess their impact on our operations
  • Develop and implement incident response plans, working swiftly to contain and mitigate cybersecurity risks
  • Partner with internal teams and external collaborators to investigate security breaches and implement effective remediation strategies. Manage post-incident operations, including tracking lessons learned and making infrastructure improvements to enhance overall security.
  • Collaborate with other IT leaders to integrate security best practices into the broader IT strategy.
  • Develop and maintain security incident response plans and procedures.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including data breaches and cyber-attacks.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during incident response and recovery efforts.
Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Holds a Bachelor's degree ideally in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Proven experience with MDR solution platforms (highly preferred).
  • Experience with Meraki systems (a plus).
  • Demonstrated expertise in securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with cloud-native security tools and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS, with proven experience in compliance audits and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders across departments.
When considering experience for this role, we typically find a great fit with candidates who have a minimum of 6 years of years of relevant experience in cybersecurity roles, ideally with leadership experience. Additionally, experience in a holding company and/or in a start-up environment is a definite plus. The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions.
