Position Summary: The Design Engineer 2 will support production engineering and manufacturing teams by creating electrical design packages, BOMs, wire lists, and custom wiring solutions. This role requires strong technical skills in electrical hardware controls and schematic design, along with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Key Responsibilities Create drawing packages for manufacturing and as-built documentation. Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and wire lists for production teams. Support Production Engineers with hardware-related parts and custom wiring design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards. Participate in weekly team meetings and project discussions to maintain alignment on deliverables. Typical Day Gather information, set calendar/budget, execute tasks, and review performance. Daily interaction with engineering teams and production support. Weekly development and project meetings. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. OR Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. Experience: Minimum 2+ years in electrical design or related role. Technical Skills: Electrical hardware controls experience; ability to design schematics. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings. Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication. Critical thinking and problem-solving. Adaptability and teamwork. Top 3 Skills Understanding of electrical controls and PLC hardware design. Ability to learn proactively and seek clarification when needed. xrczosw Honest and clear communication.
