Position Overview Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist for a locum opportunity in Cadillac, MI . This role requires physicians comfortable with procedures and flexible to work both days and nights. The assignment includes cross-credentialing at multiple nearby facilities, providing a variety of inpatient experiences across well-supported hospital environments.
Requirements
Active Michigan medical license , MI DEA , and CSR in hand
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Must be willing to work day and night shifts
Must be comfortable performing hospitalist procedures
Ability to cross-credential at multiple facilities (Cadillac, Grayling, Otsego)
Clean file required for presentation
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient medical care, including admissions, rounding, and discharges
Perform bedside procedures and respond to rapid response or code situations
Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient management
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
Deliver high-quality patient-centered care consistent with hospital and Optigy standards
Position Details
Schedule: Flexible (day and night shifts)

Telehealth: No
Start Date: August 19, 2025
Estimated Credentialing Timeline: 60 days
Daily OT after 12 hours; Weekly OT after 168 hours
