A licensed School Psychologist (LSSP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting located in Fabens, TX. This contract position runs through the current school year with the potential for immediate start.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist (LSSP) required
Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
Bilingual skills considered a plus but not mandatory
Ability to manage a caseload and provide psychological services aligned with a school setting
Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
Effective communication with students, parents, and school staff
Location:
Fabens, Texas
On-site role within a public school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grades
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individual education plans (IEPs) and interventions
Provide counseling and support services to address behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges
Assist with crisis intervention and consultation regarding student mental health needs
Maintain accurate records and comply with district, xrczosw state, and federal regulations
