Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Chemist. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform a broad range of chemical tests and procedures in the laboratory or at production stations. This role involves professional judgment in the physico-chemical analysis of samples, as well as the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of professional methods and techniques. Key Responsibilities Performs routine testing and analysis of finished products, bulk in-process materials, raw material, and stability samples in accordance with compendia and in-house test methods. Conducts routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of equipment used in the analytical labs. Ensures general housekeeping and organization of lab working spaces, including bench tops, personal drawers, glassware, chemical storage cabinets, and exhaust hoods. Assists in maintaining the chemical and consumable material inventory necessary for routine testing and analysis. Provides input into the review, change, and update of laboratory documents such as SOPs, test methods, and test records. Complies with all safety standards while on company premises and during performance of job functions. Conforms to all CGMP/GLP requirements in the performance and documentation of analytical testing. Performs peer reviews of analytical notebooks and other documents, as needed. Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
