Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Houston, TX We are expanding our Cardiac Surgery, Heart Failure, and Lung Transplant unit and seeking experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistants (PA) and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Houston, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in one of the nations top cardiothoracic surgery programs. Key Highlights: Full-time 4x10s schedule promoting work-life balance Openings available in both the Heart Failure Clinic and Intermediate Care Unit All providers will be cross-trained to float between units during census surges EVH training and OR time will be available after initial training in clinic and inpatient settings Key Responsibilities: Provide care in the CT Surgery Clinic and/or Intermediate Care Unit Support preoperative and postoperative patient management Perform consultations, daily rounds, and procedures as appropriate Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team Participate in call coverage on a rotating basis Qualifications: Licensed in Texas as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Prior experience in cardiothoracic surgery is required Strong clinical background in heart failure, cardiac surgery, and/or lung transplant care Comfort working in high-acuity, fast-paced environments Team player with a patient-centered mindset Why Join Us?
