Program Manager Position Summary
Hardwired Incorporated/Hardwired Global is accepting applications for a program manager based in our Richmond, VA office, which will require international travel.

As a program manager, you will help facilitate Hardwireds legal, educational and civil society programs internationally. You will support ongoing communication, logistics, planning, facilitation, follow-up with participants, and reporting on programs. In order to support field operations for international programs, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe, the position will require international travel to countries in which we have programs. This currently includes Iraq, South Sudan, Lebanon, and Kosovo.

A. Primary Requirements

Bachelors degree related to the humanitarian field and/or international relations.
At least three to five years of relevant junior or senior program management experience in multiple countries.
Foreign travel experience related to program management.
Financial program management experience on grant reporting on international programs and currencies.

B. Secondary Requirement

1. Technical Skills and Abilities:

High level of agility to navigate diverse settings, people, and scheduling changes, including in conflict situations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and with people from different language and cultures.
Strong organizational, management, and planning skills.
Creative or narrative writing skills, creative arts abilities
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making.
Strong ability to manage time, multi-task, and meet tight and sometimes unpredictable deadlines.
Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports at the Senior-Level
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team and cross-cultural environments

3. Other Desired Qualities

Three+ years experience in the human rights and/or religious freedom field of work.
~ Congressional and/or policy-making experience of at least two years a plus.

Kurdish and Arabic language skills highly desired.
Experience in the Middle East highly desired.
