Construction Litigation Attorney

We are looking for an Associate with 5 + years of civil/commercial litigation and/or construction law experience. Candidates with construction defect or construction-related litigation experience are preferred. Excellent academic credentials, courtroom and deposition experience, and strong research, drafting, and communication skills are required. This position will play a key role in managing complex construction-related legal matters.
You will provide guidance, draft documents, conduct research, assist in litigation, and collaborate with senior attorneys to protect client interests and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of construction litigation matters from inception to resolution. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and memoranda of law. Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Participate in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams. Stay current on developments in construction and commercial litigation law.
Qualifications
J. D. from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice in Florida; federal court admission preferred. 5 + years of civil/commercial litigation experience, preferably including construction matters. Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience
handling discovery, motion practice, and depositions. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally.
