Description Specialization: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Summary: Our hospital employed, busy OB/GYN practice is seeking an additional OB/GYN Physician in Fredericksburg, VA. Our tenured team of experts offer highly individualized comprehensive care to women with common and complex conditions. Qualified Candidates: Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology MD/DO Dynamic physician with a passion for high quality patient care Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license Position Overview: Join a team that includes midwives, APP support, lactation and perinatology services Facility reports 30-40 deliveries per month, with balanced obstetric and gynecologic case volumes Evening and weekend call coverage based upon call group hospitalists are utilized Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package Health/dental/life insurance Productivity bonus Paid malpractice insurance CME allowance and time off About Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center: Opened in June of 2010, Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a 133-bed medical/surgical hospital Recognized by The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures Recipient of the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award Accredited Chest Pain Center with the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center Certified by the National Institute for Care of Hospitalized Elderly (NICHE) Comprehensive services include 24-hour emergency department care, advanced technology operating rooms with robotics, an intensive care unit, and step-down progressive care unit Surgical services include: general surgery, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular and GYN Obstetrics maternity care includes lactation services, childbirth education, and perinatology services, as well as a Level III NICU Physical, occupational and speech therapy for children and adults Inpatient psychiatric behavioral health services About the Community: Fredericksburg is conveniently located one hour south of Washington, D.C. and one hour north of Richmond, VA, in one of the most rapidly growing areas of the country.
