Commercial Estimator – Healthcare & Senior Living Construction Location: We’re seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team in Clearwater. This role will focus on developing detailed, accurate estimates for healthcare facilities, senior living communities, medical office buildings, and assisted living projects throughout the region. Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for healthcare and senior living projects, including skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, clinics, and medical office buildings.
Review drawings, specifications, AHCA guidelines, and project scope to ensure fully compliant and complete estimates.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids, ensuring accurate scope coverage and competitive pricing.
Support the preconstruction team with budgeting, cost analysis, and value-engineering recommendations.
Develop and maintain historical cost data and benchmarking tools for improved pricing accuracy.
Participate in design coordination meetings and collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and healthcare owners.
Assist with risk assessment, scheduling assumptions, phasing, and site logistics planning.
5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in healthcare, senior living, or institutional facilities.
~ Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and multi-phase project sequencing.
