We also offer company-provided short-term disability, an employee assistance program, and a wellness program./ppPosition Overview:/ppThe Sr. Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing and validating loan files, obtaining and organizing necessary documentation, and ordering third-party documentation in order to submit decision-ready files to underwriting and request clear-to-close. The Sr. Loan Processor works closely with the Loan Officer, LP2 (Contract to Close), and branch leadership, and communicates with approved third-party vendors (title/escrow, HOI, HOA/condo, AMC, VOE vendors, etc.). Borrower and agent communication is handled by the LO/LP2./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliPerform a thorough review and analysis of borrowers credit, employment, income, and assets as required by the particular loan program before submitting to underwriting./liliAssemble the complete loan package in proper order for underwriting./liliVerify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file./liliComplete the required loan checklist./liliVerify that an application is complete and accurate; and identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting./liliPrepare a loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and ensure the accuracy of all the information printed on those documents./liliCommunicate directly with the Loan Originator, LP2, underwriter, and approved third-party vendors to obtain initial and any missing documentation required to qualify for the loan./liliProvide feedback on approval conditions related to what has been ordered/date ordered by processing./liliReview loans for compliance with all mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc.) and prepare required disclosures./liliCommunicate with various companies to obtain Property Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information./liliVerify that vendor orders are complete, invoices received, and in the applicants E-file./liliManage pipeline by completing and submitting reports within allotted turn-around times./liliAssist set-up of loans./liliDocument all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log./liliTrain and help supervise new loan processors and other processing personnel./liliAssist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC. investors./li/ulpQualifications and Skills:/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent./liliA minimum of 5 years residential mortgage processing experience./liliEncompass experience./liliWorking knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, including but not limited to Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents, preferred./liliExcellent math and analytical skills./liliExcellent communication skills./liliAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines./liliAvailable to work varying hours and overtime if needed./li/ulpThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
