Moran Fire Protection We have an exciting opportunity in the Champaign, IL area for a Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, and Extinguisher Inspector . High school diploma or equivalent required; Understanding of NFPA standards and state and local building and fire codes preferred
Previous fire alarm, sprinkler, and extinguisher inspections experience a plus
NICET II in test and inspection of fire sprinkler systems or a background in construction
FLEXIBLE: travel to client sites regularly

CUSTOMER-SERVICE: Provide reliable, excellent quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventative maintenance services on fire alarm systems and automatic fire sprinkler systems
KEEP TO CODE: Ensure that inspections are compliant with local, state, federal, and district codes, regulations, and specifications
Perform inspections on wet, dry, pre-action, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and Authority Having Jurisdiction
DOCUMENT: Recognize and accurately document deficiencies found during an inspection
Communicate status of work orders to supervisors and other office staff
Maintain positive working relationships with field and office staff
Lift inventory, bend and stoop, carry and move materials, and load and unload vehicles
