Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day, M-F, shared weekends and nights on call Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, or new graduate with strong recommendations License: Active and current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (must be obtained within 6 months of hire), OSHA Respirator Fit Testing (certified within 3 months of hire) Must-Have: Demonstrated organizational ability and time management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Job Description: - Provide care, assessment, and delivery of Respiratory Therapy in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency services, and home care. - Perform tasks such as intubations, cesarean sections, aerosol delivery, and patient assessment and care planning with minimal assistance. - Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationship with patients, visitors, and facility staff. - Collaborate effectively with others at all levels within the organization. - Maintain organized records and ensure confidentiality of all information acquired during job duties. - Assist with emergency department transport via ambulance as required. - Perform all tasks accurately, including correct spelling and grammar. - Adhere to dress code, ensuring a neat and professional appearance. - Attend annual evaluations, complete required education, and maintain regulatory compliance. - Exhibit the mission, ethics, and goals of the organization in all job duties. Working Conditions: - Willingness to work beyond normal hours and in other positions temporarily when necessary. - Involvement with personnel, visitors, and agencies as required. - Ability to function independently, demonstrate personal integrity, and work effectively with others. Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, walk, and move intermittently during working hours. - Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
