Cardiac Sonographer

- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures with RDCS certification and current BLS required.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Duties include scanning patients in all cardiac modalities: M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE
- Adult patient population
- EPIC charting system is used; Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment and performing comprehensive cardiac scans including exercise and TEE studies
- Reports to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer and follows established policies and procedures
- Associate’s degree in radiology or equivalent certification required
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required
- One to three years of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred
- Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Boston for standard travel rate eligibility
