Job Description : Infosys is seeking a Snowflake Data Modeler with experience in data warehousing and ETL methodologies. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications: Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta ,GA, Charlotte, NC Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA and Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology Preferred Qualifications: Development experience in creating Logical and Physical Data model Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data At least 3 years of experience in Snowflake Proficiency in any data modeling tools like Erwin, ER/Studio, Power Designer etc. Good understanding of the Source systems in Banking and Financial Services domain and data architecture Experienced in Design, Developing complex systems from scratch, and Implementation of large - scale projects in Banking and Financial Services using Data Warehousing ETL tools Programming knowledge in Python or Java Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
