Job Description:
A leading retail organization is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to join their Data Exchange team. The role involves building and supporting a master data management system for store data, enabling real-time access through APIs and event streams. The platform will streamline store data creation, maintenance, and analytics, enhancing customer experience across mobile and web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document system requirements into technical specs using JIRA and Confluence.
Write user stories with acceptance criteria and assist with test execution and validation.
Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
Write and execute test cases (manual and automated) to validate API accuracy.
Lead bi-weekly release regression testing (pre/post-production).
Technical Collaboration:
Work with engineering teams to refine acceptance criteria.
Troubleshoot and validate data transformations for accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely solutions.
Support global operations by extending technology assistance.
Qualifications:
6+ years as a Technical Systems Analyst with enterprise-level experience.
Proven expertise in system integrations, real-time APIs, and event streams.
Hands-on experience with SQL, API validation (Postman), and JSON/XML.
Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous scenarios.
Experience documenting technical requirements and test cases.
Ability to collaborate in Agile (2-week sprints) environments.
JIRA, Confluence, Postman, and ad hoc query tools.
Familiarity with automated regression testing tools is a plus.
Experience with products and supply chain systems.
Collaborative and curious mindset with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
