Seeking a highly motivated individual looking to start their career in fiber-optic manufacturing What You’ll Do Assemble and create fiber-optic components (e.g. combiners, couplers, multicore fiber fanouts) Work with schematics and drawings Prepare and splice optical fibers and create optical assemblies Test assemblies with optical sources and detectors What you’ll bring Patience & Focus — precision work can take time; you stay engaged and focused Adaptability — you adjust quickly when processes or priorities shift Attention to Detail — you catch what others miss Team Player — ask smart questions, share ideas, help peers and respect each other Manual Dexterity & Fine Motor Skills — steady good hands for working with optical fibers and precision assemblies Precision Measurement knowledge — understanding measurement principles, tolerances, and unit conversions (µm, mm, cm, km, in) Basic Computer Literacy & Documentation — knowing how to use a computer to record process data Bonus : any prior experience with fusion splicing, fiber polishing, laser systems, interferometry or precision electronics What we offer 3 months paid training Growth opportunities – start on the bench, then advance to supervisor, manager, and beyond Structured training with experienced mentors Hands-on work from day one—no assembly line boredom Competitive pay & benefits (medical, dental, paid time off) Opportunities to work with R&D, testing, prototyping Ready to shape the future of photonics manufacturing with us?
