/Computed tomography CT scanning
/Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
/Nuclear medicine imaging
/General ultrasound or sonogram
/Echocardiography
/Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Education and Work Experience:
/Three years' CT technologist experience: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
/Facility Specific License/Certifications:
/Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
/Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
/Ensures department, equipment and staffing meet requirements set forth by any accreditation maintained by facility (JCAHO, ACR, State Licensures, etc.).
