Construction Litigation Associate – Los Angeles, CA A national law firm is seeking an attorney with 4–6 years of construction-related litigation experience to join its team in Los Angeles . Position Overview The attorney will handle a variety of litigation matters involving construction projects, contractors, design professionals, and related parties. Responsibilities may include: Managing cases from early investigation through resolution Preparing and arguing motions, conducting depositions, and assisting with trial preparation Drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and other litigation documents Working directly with clients, experts, and witnesses Evaluating claims, investigating facts, and developing litigation strategy Experience in construction, engineering, or architecture is helpful but not required. Familiarity with insurance-related matters or defense processes is also considered an advantage. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: 4–6 years of litigation experience , preferably involving construction disputes Strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail A solid academic background Active membership in the California Bar The firm values attorneys with a strong work ethic, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
