Prestigious Physician Group in Atlanta is looking for a Front office specialist Prestige Staffing has been tasked by one of our best clients to find a front office specialist to interview and go to work ASAP Candidate must be hard working and a self-starter. Responsibilities: Greet patients Register patients according to established protocols Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy Maintain and manage patient records Move patients through appointments as scheduled Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries Schedule patient appointments Collect co-pays and deductibles Schedule hospital admissions, tests, scans and outside appointments for patients MA duties include triaging patients, assisting with minor procedures Experience and Education: High school diploma Experience using EPIC EMR system Knowledge of general administrative xrczosw and clerical procedures Working knowledge of healthcare insurance required 3 years of experience in a medical front office role Key Competencies: Professional communication skills Information collection and management Planning and organizing Attention to detail Customer service skills Confidentiality/following HIPAA guidelines #zr-rep
