This is a full-time, on multiple sites role for an Assistant Superintendent based in West Palm Beach, FL. The Assistant Superintendent will provide hands-on support to the project management team by overseeing daily on-site construction activities. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, monitoring project schedules, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting quality control inspections, and identifying and resolving on-site issues in a timely manner. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Proven experience in Construction Management, Supervision, or Site Operations
Knowledge of project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and resource management
Expertise in Quality Assurance, Safety Protocols, and Compliance Standards
Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, techniques, and materials
Proficiency in construction software and technology tools (e.g., project management software, blueprint reading)
Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus
OSHA certification or similar safety training is preferred
Basic plan reading and field documentation
