Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Permanent Orthopaedic Joint Surgeon This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care in a supportive and innovative environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to contribute to our comprehensive orthopaedic program. Position Overview: Status: Open Specialty: Orthopaedic Surgery Work Schedule: Days with on-call responsibilities Call Frequency: Approximately 4 calls per month Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of orthopaedic surgeries, including: Total Hip Arthroplasty Total Knee Arthroplasty Revision Joint Surgery Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including trauma, sports medicine, pediatrics, hand specialists, and podiatry Stay current on the latest advances in total joint arthroplasty Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including Stryker MAKO robotics for minimally invasive procedures Qualifications: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (0-5 years of fellowship) from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) Fellowship Training: Fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction is required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in total joint arthroplasty preferred Licensing: Active Michigan license or in the process of obtaining is highly preferred Compensation and Benefits: Incentives: RVU-based incentive compensation plan Relocation Allowance: Available if applicable Sign-on Bonus: To be discussed during the interview process Educational Stipend: Opportunity during Fellowship year Generous Paid Vacation: 37 days including CME CME Stipend: Financial support for continued education Professional Dues: Paid for licensing and memberships Retirement Plans: 403(b) and 457(b) options Comprehensive Health Benefits: Life, health, dental, and vision insurance with short-term and long-term disability coverage Liability Coverage: Professional liability insurance with tail coverage included Community Overview: The position is located near Gladwin, MI, a charming community with access to the stunning natural landscapes of Michigan.
