Quality Control Inspector
OUR COMPANY Founded in 1956 LoneStar Fasteners is a leading manufacturer and stocking distributor for all sizes of SAE, ASTM and ISO fasteners including bolts, double tap, tap end and all thread fasteners in a variety of grades, alloys and coatings. With extensive in-house machining capabilities, LoneStar Fasteners manufacture bespoke fasteners in a variety of standard and exotic materials specific to customer drawings and specifications. We also offer in-house plating and coating services for corrosion prevention; including zinc electroplating and Fluoropolymer coating systems. Combined, LoneStar Fasteners hold over 300 years of expertise in sales, manufacturing and coating experience, covering all aspects of the manufacturing and distribution of fasteners for the Energy, Power, OEM, Military, Aerospace, Engineering and Construction Industries.

We have 1 immediate need for a QC Inspector opening (full-time) for our 2nd shift (4 PM to 12:30 AM) at our facility in Spring, TX
Carry out various tasks associated with visual and dimensional inspection, from first article through final inspection.
Work with general or written instructions, inspection check sheets, standard inspection directives and procedures.
Perform in process, final inspection, and test operations to assure quality standards for metallic components.
Prepares parts for testing per documented standards and procedures.
Complete required documents and paperwork relating to the inspection functions.
Communicates inspection findings and/or problems associated with the product.
Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
Report injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
1-3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or machining environment; High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Be able to speak/communicate in English
Good understanding of customer requirements, API, ASTM, ASME, IFI and industry standards is desirable
Knowledge of MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
Able to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data
Ability to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or Performance
Must be able to work a shift schedule and overtime as needed, including weekends
Forklift licensed preferred
Must be willing to work a shift schedule
Previous experience with material testing is highly preferred
Must be able to stand for the duration of scheduled shift
Ability to manually load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, platforms up to weighing 25-150 lbs
High value highly customized components, long and large parts, and high precision manufacturing for critical service applications
