Currently, we have an immediate hybrid remote opening for a Member Advisor to join our team to support Virtual Branch (Call/Contact Center) and our Walnut Creek, CA Office. The Member Advisor position will start off by working in office at our Walnut Creek Office and transition to work a hybrid schedule. This role focuses on delivering legendary service by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting the credit union's products and services in alignment with our mission to improve the financial lives of our Fire Family. Recommend financial products and services to meet members’ short and long-term financial needs. Assist members with completing consumer loan applications. Process and manage member accounts and/or open new and sub-accounts. Process, manage and decision consumer loan applications per consumer lending policies and underwriting guidelines. Process and manage credit and debit cards. Troubleshoot, research, respond, and provide training on member services technology and related issues. Work with other employees and departments to ensure member requests are processed for investments, mortgages, business loans, and insurance. Participate in special projects and perform other assignments as needed. May occasionally travel to attend meetings, conferences, training, or other work-related events. Uphold the credit union’s values and brand reputation by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication in all member interactions. Basic Qualifications: Experience as a personal banker at a credit union or bank setting Proven track record of taking initiative, demonstrating a proactive approach to member interactions, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Experience with consumer loan application and processing. Experience with account opening and teller transactions.
