Provide comprehensive care to trauma patients during 24-hour shifts, from 8 a.m. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care in a Level II trauma center setting.
~ Candidates must be board-certified as a Physician Assistant and hold an active medical license in California (CA).
Experience in trauma care, particularly in a Level II to Level I trauma center, is essential.
Familiarity with Athena and Cerner EMR systems is required to ensure seamless documentation and patient management.
Shifts:
The position involves multiple 24-hour shifts throughout the month, providing flexibility for those who can commit to this demanding schedule.
This role is designed for a PA who is confident in their trauma care abilities and can work effectively in high-pressure situations.
Temporary Privileges:
While the estimated credentialing timeframe is 30-60 days, temporary privileges are available for a quicker start, allowing you to begin making an impact sooner.
Patient Care Focus:
This is a fully inpatient role, focusing solely on trauma care. The PA will be responsible for managing unassigned patients and ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care.
