A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in Minneapolis, MN, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to deliver tailored educational support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and social growth within a supportive school environment. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning experiences. Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior. Support students in developing essential life skills alongside academic petencies. Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Special Education. Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
