We are seeking a Nurse House Supervisor for our team to be an innovator. The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for staffing, patient care oversight, emergency direction, and handling complaints appropriately. This role functions as the administrative resource and expert clinician. The Supervisor provides operational and administrative oversight to all departments during off hours and weekends. The Administrative Supervisor problem solves and evaluates nursing care provided on the units and assign personnel accordingly. Represent the hospital as a key leader and coordinates issues to appropriate level for problem solving Supervise nursing care and ascertain the condition of patients by rounding on all nursing units. Communicate with nursing Managers/Directors concerning issues on the individual unit(s). Work collaboratively with Bed Management to ensure appropriate admissions and with Directors/Managers for the proper placement of patients on the units. Facilitate the flow of clinical information for the transfer/admission of patients from clinical, hospitals, emergency departments and other external locations. Serve as a resource for staff and providers for all operational needs. Maintain responsibility for the oversight of staffing for the hospital during overnight hours. Serve as liaison for per diem agency staffing. Support the facility's Standards of Performance and ICARE values. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required. ~ Bachelor's Degree, plan to complete a Bachelor's Degree within an agreed upon timeframe, or 4 years of related experience required. ~3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse required. ~ TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
