Director, Platform Security
The role requires being in our company hub office twice a week.
Strategic and technical leadership of Gemini's Platform Security team
Align team-wide strategy with the needs of the business, internal partners, and peer security leadership
Establish a Platform Security roadmap for initiatives that increase maturity of capabilities while reducing toil through automation
Foster trustcentric relationships with key partner teams, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met, while achieving excellent security outcomes
Lead the development of security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines that guide functional security outcomes and meet all GRC and audit requirements
Provide guidance on architecture, security engineering, and businessedachievement goals based on lived experience and industry awareness
Manage relevant thirdparty vendor relationships, deciding when to build versus buy to address gaps
5+ years of leadership experience for cloudnative engineering and/or security teams with a preference for AWSbased organizations
~Platform Engineering, Security)
~ Strong experience with AWS, EKS (Kubernetes), IAM, Terraform, GitHub Enterprise Cloud
~ Experience leveraging industry security frameworks and standards to mature the overall security program
~ Prior success in leading a team through organizational change management, preferably in a startup or technologycentric business
~ Pragmatic about security requirements, ignoring best practices that do not fit business needs
~ This range does not include discretionary bonuses or equity. A discretionary annual bonus
