Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Medical Science Liaison, Dermatology to be based in the San Francisco, CA territory, which includes San Jose, San Mateo, and Sacramento.

Consistently demonstrate strategic territory planning and ability to build strong relationships within the territory.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a field strategic plan.
Respond in a timely manner to unsolicited scientific inquiries of HCPs, investigators, and population health decision makers, integrating scientific data, including realworld evidence, into reallife practice to meet customer needs.
Present data and information in a manner appropriate to the audience and request.
Execute plans regarding reactive and proactive outreaches as approved via the legal/HCC exceptions process.
Integrate scientific data into reallife practice to meet customer/audience needs, adapting interpersonal style to particular situations and people.
Prioritize franchise customerbased initiatives and field responsibilities while balancing administrative duties and project responsibilities.
Leverage knowledge of standards of care and Janssen company/investigatorsponsored clinical trials and competitor landscape to facilitate externalinternal research communication.
Engage with external investigators regarding unsolicited research inquiries and act as liaison to R&D, Medical Affairs and operations teams.
Provide clinical trial support to identify potential sites, resolve issues with enrolled sites, and participate in meetings, including site initiation visits and investigator launch meetings.
Actively participate in team calls, trainings, and journal clubs, engaging in scientific dialogue, understanding of current standard of care, and regular sharing of scientific news.
Attend and provide leadership at scientific conferences to gather and understand new scientific information relevant to the company and the external scientific community.
Listen, document, and share medical insights, proactively synthesizing data and insights for the MSL team and other partners.
Set aside time for selfdriven learnings on the current scientific landscape.
Represent and support JNJ at relevant scientific or other key stakeholder meetings including congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and investigator meetings.
Represent JNJ at speaking engagements at relevant scientific or other key stakeholder meetings.
Perform all administrative requirements in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner (e.g., Provide regional and local support to enhance sales training initiatives and improve competencies of field personnel in partnership with Sales Learning and Development.
Demonstrate the ability to partner with others to lead or participate in largescale projects.
Maintain thorough understanding and competence in regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines, corporate policies on appropriate business conduct and ethical behavior, and Medical Affairs SOPs and guidelines.
Travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within assigned territory, with infrequent travel outside of assigned geography.
PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced medical degree (NP, PA) with +3 years relevant therapeutic area clinical experience.
~23 years of relevant work experience, including clinical, research, or related pharma experience.
~ Ability to support travel up to 7580%, including overnight travel and occasional weekend commitments.
~ Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and remote technologies.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $117,000 $175,500.00.
Employees are eligible to participate in companysponsored programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and longterm disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees are eligible for the Companys consolidated retirement plan (401(k)) and a longterm incentive program. Holiday pay 13 days per calendar year; Work, Personal and Family Time up to 40 hours per calendar year; Condolence leave 30 days for an immediate family member, 5 days for an extended family member;
