Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma and/or GED Certificate At least four years’ experience in the skilled trades Self-motivation to follow through on daily assignments Basic mathematical knowledge is required Formal training in ammonia refrigeration, i.e. trade school min. Refrigeration 1certification Four years’ experience in Ammonia Refrigeration maintenance. Job Responsibilities: Perform and maintain preventative maintenance of all process plant and utility plant equipment as directed by supervisor Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant refrigeration systems Enforces OSHA and EPA regulations work standards Responsible for supporting continuous improvement of food safety and quality & OSHA Safety Follow all GMP and PPE procedures per Taylor Farms requirements Repair and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: pumps, pipes, electric components, tanks and vessels and pipe welding, heat exchangers, building and grounds, and other various equipment/items Complete PM’s on equipment Use preventative maintenance software programs as needed Maintain plant facilities by practicing effective housekeeping procedures Maintain a team environment with all other employees and departments while providing a high level of customer service and a friendly atmosphere Adhere to all applicable government work xrczosw standards Follow all policies and procedures set forth to promote quality and food safety and report any food safety and quality concerns. Responsible for following all policies and procedures established to implement, maintain and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 system Follow all safety rules and regulations per Taylor Farms requirements Follow any and all additional duties or responsibilities assigned by Maintenance Supervisor Fellow Maintenance Technician will assume role responsibilities in case of absence
