College Aide, Junior-Senior Position - Part Time - 20 hours per week The Finance Division at DOHMH, is seeking to hire one highly motivated, detail-oriented College Aide ; to assist with processing competitive health and human services procurements in the Bureau of the Agency Chief Contracting Officer (ACCO). The College Aide will report to the Assistant ACCO-Procurement Optimization, and duties will include but will not be limited to: Proofread and format solicitation documents to align with established practices and templates. Under supervision, configure solicitations and proposal questionnaires in PASSPort, the City's end-to-end procurement and financial system. Assist with vendor communications by email, phone, or remotely (such as MS Teams). Under supervision, update and maintain files (both paper and electronic) and databases. Create reports as requested. Check records for accuracy of information and for conformity with established policies and procedures. Perform a variety of clerical/administrative assignments, including handling routine email assignments, assisting with meeting coordination and scheduling, taking notes at meetings, and performing general office functions such as typing, photocopying, scanning, and answering the phone. Perform other duties as needed, including special projects. Preferred Skills Highly reliable. Competence with basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Teams, database applications), and competence with office equipment (computer, printer, photocopier, scanner).
