Vascular Surgeon to join Successful, Growing Employed Practice Vascular surgery group is seeking two vascular surgeons to join their academic, community-based program. This is a very busy practice with a diverse variety of cases, from bread and butter vascular surgery to complex, challenging pathologies. This position is 100% vascular surgery. Their main site is a 1,133 bed, non-profit hospital which serves 9 surrounding counties. They are equipped with 2 hybrid operating rooms: one being the Siemens Pheno ARTIS hybrid suite. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator able to work in a fast-paced, supportive, team environment. Candidates should be comfortable with a wide breadth of open and Endovascular cases. Vascular surgery also supports this level one trauma center. Call would be no more than 1 in 4. Any interest in building a complex aortic program alongside their award-winning Cardiothoracic surgery department would be encouraged and supported. The hospital has a long-standing relationship with Wright State/Boonshoft School of Medicine. Multiple residency programs, including general surgery, as well as medical students rotate through year around. If there is interest in building an academic career, ample opportunities abound, and academic ranking can be pursued with our medical school affiliate. Scholarly activity is strongly encouraged.
