Account Specialist Onsite | Dayton, OH $48k-$55k Position Summary: Our growing manufacturing company in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a professional and outgoing Account Specialist to join our customer engagement team. As an Account Specialist , you will play a key role in supporting the sales process, maintaining excellent customer communication, and managing quoting and order activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary Account Specialist contact for customers through meetings, phone calls, and emails. Collaborate with the Sales team to support quoting activities, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer needs. Handle Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs) as part of the Account Specialist duties. Monitor order progress and proactively communicate status updates and delivery timelines to customers. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information in the ERP system. Work cross-functionally with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, representing the company with professionalism and care as an Account Specialist . Required Qualifications: Experience in a similar Account Specialist , customer service, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience using ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to lead conversations with customers. Professional and outgoing personality, with strong relationship-building abilities.
