About the Company Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Electrical Estimator. We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to work with our Industrial Division in our Spartanburg, SC office. Our Industrial Division provides comprehensive services in Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical scopes across the power, water/wastewater, marine, mining, and other Industrial Process markets. We work on a variety of unique projects and as such, the successful candidate will have the ability to recognize risks and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate risks, as well as strive to find methods/technologies to provide competitive advantages. About the Role The Electrical Estimator will need to have a strong background in both power and control systems, electrical raceways, grounding installation, cable pulling, electrical gear/panel installations, terminations, and lightning protection installation. This individual will create estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and other bid document requirements. The Electrical Estimator will also collaborate with the Estimating Manager and other discipline estimators (concrete, structural, pipe, etc.) to develop the project, estimate, bid proposal, schedule, and other deliverables. Estimators participate in project hand-off and preconstruction activities for successful bids. Responsibilities Quantity take-offs Material pricing Labor quantities Equipment needs Project schedule Scope clarifications Proposal deliverables Qualifications Minimum of 5 years in estimating, project management or other related fields Be proficient in all computer software programs used in estimating. Possess strong mathematical and computer skills. Proficiency with general software systems such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam. Knowledge of construction safety requirements and scheduling. Required Skills Strong background in power and control systems, electrical raceways, grounding installation, cable pulling, electrical gear/panel installations, terminations, and lightning protection installation. Preferred Skills Experience with unique projects and risk management strategies. Pay range and compensation package Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
