Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation
This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. This posting is for the cashiers and concessionaires that will work in the various golf and tennis centers for the City of Little Rock Parks and Recreation Programs.
Essential Functions
Cash Register Operato r Receives and disburses money; also provide excellent customer service to all golf patrons at all City of Little Rock Golf Courses, and or tennis center.

Concessionaire Ensures that the facilities meet health department standards for cleanliness and preparation and sale concession products are executed with customer service according to standards. Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of high school, two (2) years of experience in restaurant or concession sales, or a cashier experience or related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. The senior concessionaire requires one (1) year of lead worker experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • A valid Arkansas Class D Non-Commercial Drivers License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.

Regular part-time employees who work 1,500 hours shall receive six (6) days of Sick Leave upon the completion of the 1,500 hours. If unused, this Sick Leave shall be allowed to accumulate to a maximum of fifteen (15) days (120 hours). Regular, full-time non-probationary employees who transfer to Regular, part-time positions will receive credit for the previous year's service for purposes of Sick Leave accrual and may carry over accrued Sick Leave accrual up to the maximum noted above. Regular part-time employees who were in pay status (vacation, sick leave, or actual hours worked) for at least 1,500 hours during the year shall receive the following Vacation Leave: Up to 10 years of service (40 hrs.) = 5 days per year
10 years or more (60 hrs.) = 7-1/2 days per year
