Qualifications

  • Education/License: CPA required; Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master in taxation or designations/licensing a plus
  • Experience: 5+ years in tax preparation, including complex returns for families and business clients.
  • Skills: Proficient in tax technology and software; strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engageme nt: Conduct client consultations, manage onboarding, and provide strategic tax advice.
  • Tax Preparation: Oversee individual (1040), trust (1041), partnership (1065), and S-Corp (1120S) filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process Optimizatio n: Standardize workflows, leverage technology to improve processes, and enhance the client experience.
  • Cross-Trainin g: Provide monthly training for advisory staff on tax strategies and tax law updates.
  • Bookkeeping Services: Offer hourly bookkeeping and reconciliation services to support clients' financial records

Salary:

  • $90,000 - $140,000
