Hardware Test Engineer
Work Schedule: 100% on-site, M-F
7+ years of experience in hardware validation, test engineering, or RF systems testing.
Experience in design, testing, and debugging of RF PCBAs
Experience with test equipment (such as oscilloscope, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and Signal Generator)
Python, C/C++
Experience conducting root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions with an emphasis on RF systems
Understanding of metrology, sources of measurement error, and uncertainty analysis.
Experience with environmental testing such as thermal, vibration, and TVAC.
5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, testing, or quality assurance, preferably within the aerospace or satellite industry.
Experience in high volume manufacturing, assembling and testing of electronic components.
Experience in analyzing impact of radiation on electronic components and strategies to mitigate impact of radiation on electronic systems.

As a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and longevity of satellite hardware. Your work will span the full lifecycle — from design validation to flight readiness — and will be instrumental in proving that payloads can thrive in the harshest environments space has to offer, including radiation, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress.
Analyze test data to identify failure modes, drive root-cause investigations, and feed improvements back into design.
Provide technical mentorship and help raise the bar for test engineering.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — hardware, software, and mechanical — to ensure reliability from initial design through manufacturing and in-orbit operation.
This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA.
7+ years of experience in hardware validation, test engineering, or RF systems testing.
Experience in design, testing, and debugging of RF PCBAs
