Title: SHE Manager – Fontana, CA | Up to $150K + 5% Bonus Location: Fontana, California
Salary: Up to $150,000 + 5% Bonus
A fast-growing manufacturer in Fontana is seeking a hands-on Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) Manager to lead safety initiatives at a 350-employee facility. This operation was acquired about a year ago and is transitioning from a “mom-and-pop” structure into a large, modern organization—so culture change will be a major focus.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in challenging environments, enjoys building structure, and wants to make a significant impact on safety culture in manufacturing.
Lead and oversee all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs across a busy manufacturing facility
Conduct audits, safety training, and awareness programs
Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Perform incident investigations, risk assessments, JSAs, LOTO reviews, and root cause analysis activities
Develop budgets, schedules, and performance requirements for EH&S initiatives
Recommend policy and procedural improvements to elevate safety performance
Food, paper mill, or automotive backgrounds are highly preferred
Deep understanding of safety regulatory compliance
Hands-on experience with LOTO, JSA/JHA, Risk Assessment, Emergency Preparedness, PIT, machine safety, and incident analysis
Safety certifications
Strong documentation and Microsoft Office skills
Military-focused safety roles
