We’re on the lookout for a highly organized and proactive Pre-Suit Paralegal/Case Manager to support our legal team with expertise and enthusiasm Plus Bonuses Based on Performance) Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, answering questions, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the pre-suit process. Records Requests: Obtain, track, and organize medical records, bills, and lien information from healthcare providers and facilities. Draft and send requests for incident reports, 911 calls, body cam footage, and other government/public records relevant to case development. Assist attorneys with drafting demand letters, including compiling medical summaries, damages documentation, and supporting exhibits. Correspond with insurance adjusters regarding claims, policy limits, demands, and supporting documentation. Case Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in the firm’s case management system, ensuring deadlines are tracked and met. Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and litigation staff to ensure a seamless transition if a case proceeds to litigation.
