In this role you will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of the user interface and user experience across Teradatas digital products and platforms. You will shape the future of how customers engage with Teradatas technology, enabling intuitive, intelligent, and efficient user experiences powered by modern web technologies and AI-driven design.
As the Senior Director of User Platforms, you will:
Drive the overall UI development strategy, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps, brand standards, and usercentric design principles.
Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to define and deliver worldclass user experiences that enhance usability, engagement, and satisfaction.
Establish development best practices and scalable frameworks for UI components across platforms.
Apply foundational AI skills to explore and implement ways AI can enhance productivity, innovation, and impact across our workforceleveraging AI to streamline design, accelerate coding, personalize experiences, and improve accessibility.
Champion experimentation with AIbased design tools, intelligent user insights, and automation to advance how Teradata delivers value to customers.
A seamless, intelligent, and unified experience across all Teradata user interfacesempowering customers to maximize the value of Teradatas technology while advancing the companys digital experience maturity and leadership in the age of AI.
On our team, we design and deliver the digital experience foundation for Teradatas customers and internal users. The User Platforms organization brings together worldclass UI engineers, designers, and product experts to create scalable, highperformance, and intuitive interfaces across our portfolio.
This role reports to the SVP Engineering, AI, Analytics, Apps, and UX, and works closely with:
Product Management to align technical solutions with customer and business objectives.
Engineering leaders to ensure architectural consistency and performance across platforms.
Design and AI strategy teams to ensure Teradatas interfaces evolve with modern technologies and user expectations.
Youll collaborate with colleagues who share a commitment to leveraging AI responsiblyensuring our people, customers, and partners benefit from the opportunities AI creates while maintaining trust, transparency, and usability.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
~15+ years of progressive experience in software development or UI engineering, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
~ Proven track record of leading enterprisescale UI platform development for complex software products.
~ Foundational AI skills and the ability to understand how AI can be applied to improve design, development, and user experience outcomes.

You bring a deep understanding of frontend engineering, modern frameworks, and user platform scalabilitypaired with a passion for how AI can revolutionize development, personalization, and productivity.
Strategic vision for UI platform evolution in cloudbased enterprise environments.
Familiarity with AIassisted development tools, generative design systems, and responsible AI principles.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, jobrelated knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
