Project Architect – Pensacola, FL Direct Hire | Architecture & Planning Industry No C2C inquiries ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for this direct hire Project Architect position in Pensacola, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated architect to lead impactful projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-quality architectural design from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Coordinate cross-disciplinary design teams and ensure project goals and design intent are met. Direct the development of construction documents using Revit . Review and prepare project deliverables, ensuring high-quality work that complies with codes, standards, and project requirements. Mentor and support junior architectural staff, providing technical guidance, oversight, and development. Conduct site visits, perform field measurements, and oversee construction observation activities. Manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawing reviews during construction. Participate in permitting, consultant coordination, and preparation of project manuals and specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program. 8+ years of professional architectural experience , including demonstrated project management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards. Proficiency in Revit is required ; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Registered Architect in Florida — or eligibility for Florida licensure. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Local to the Pensacola, FL area or willing to relocate. Valid driver’s license; ability to travel for site visits as needed.
