Personal Lines Account Manager

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for supporting the service needs of our Personal Lines clients. This may include reviewing applications, compiling data, and/or changing policy records, canceling policies, verifying accuracy of information. Meet service and quality standards adopted by the agency by developing trusting relationships amongst our clients and our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain the best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary with inspection, photos, and other documentation. Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates.
• Review audits or policies; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections, as needed, between clients and carriers.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Active Minnesota Property & Casualty License, or willingness to obtain the license within 90 days of employment
• Any personal lines insurance experience highly desired
• Working knowledge of Office 365
• Experience with Applied Epic preferred; will consider other agency management systems
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
